International
Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when
women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions,
whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political. It is
observed on 8th March of every year. The campaign theme for
International Women's Day 2021 is 'Choose to Challenge'. A challenging world is
an alert world. And from challenge comes change.
Holy Cross School Kathalchera a unit of Holy Cross Educational Foundation organized a Board Competition for the School houses on the World International Women’s Day, among the six houses of Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink and Orange, The competition was organized in order to make the students understand the importance of women in the society and to develop in the students the respect for women.
